The Rosso Veneto IGT "Ca' del Merlo" by Quintarelli represents an authentic expression of class and quality, typical of one of the most prestigious wineries in Veneto. This wine is a tribute to the winemaking mastery of Giuseppe Quintarelli, renowned for his absolute dedication to detail and excellence.
The cuvée is primarily composed of Corvina grapes, along with Corvinone, Rondinella, and a percentage of native red berry grapes, which slightly vary with each vintage. The winemaking process follows the traditional method of partial drying, which endows the wine with an extraordinary concentration of aromas and flavors. After the drying process, the wine matures in large oak barrels for about seven years, developing complexity and harmony.
On the nose, "Ca' del Merlo" releases a rich and intriguing bouquet, with notes of ripe wild berries, plums, sweet spices, and hints of tobacco and leather, enriched by a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced, with a perfect fusion of soft tannins and a lively freshness that promises incredible longevity.
