"Jasmin" from the Firriato winery represents the meeting point between the hillside Zibibbo and the sea one, a dry Mediterranean version of what is the most famous aromatic vine of beautiful Sicily.
It is obtained from grapes from the Borgo Guarini estate with very particular pedoclimatic conditions, flanked by those of the Baglio Sorìa estate, influenced by the sea. The result is a decidedly suggestive white wine, with a marked style and an exotic elegance, a drink that recalls the joy of being together and conviviality. An unusual version vinified in a dry version, in which the Zibibbo grape is enhanced to the nth degree to express all the great peculiarities of the grape.
An extremely precious and rich taste, with a very pleasant drink, not loving it is really impossible!
The color is a bright straw yellow with bright greenish tones. Elegant hints of citrus peel arrive on the nose, blended with floral hints of acacia and jasmine flowers, all surrounded by nuances that bring to mind the Mediterranean scrub and hot stones covered with salt. The taste is decidedly fragrant and savory, with a wide aroma and a fragrant freshness, gentle and persuasive body with a long fruity and floral persistence.
The fish-based dishes are perfect in combination, in particular the fried squid and shrimp; also ideal with cuttlefish and peas or octopus and potatoes.
