Winery history Barta Pince

The estate has brought historic local vineyards back into cultivation — including the crus Öreg Király and Kővágó — which had lain fallow for decades and were replanted and refurbished in recent years. The winery also oversaw the restoration of the historic Rákóczi‑Aspremont residence, which now houses hospitality services and direct sales.

Production philosophy

Production focused on minimal intervention and declared organic/biological practices; winemaking intended to express the character of the grape variety, the single-vineyard site and the vintage, using traditional methods and with respect for the terroir.
