Winery history Champagne Bolieu

The family Baffard-Ortillon-Beaulieu has been operating in the area for decades. The estate adopted the commercial identity "Champagne Bolieu" in recent years and states that its activities have been officially organized since the establishment of the local EARL at the beginning of the 21st century.

Production philosophy

Work focused on respect for the soil and the enhancement of the terroir: attention to the purity of the wines, preservation of the mineral characteristics of the local chalk, and winemaking that gives the natural process time to express the sense of place.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards on slopes around Bassuet, on the area's typical calcareous soils. The locality is approximately 70 km southeast of Reims.
