The Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV) was established in the 1960s (CIV: 1961 in sources) and, after consolidation of local cooperatives, evolved into the group known as Cantine Riunite & CIV; the aggregation/merger with Cantine Riunite is documented in the 2000s.
