Winery history Marc Brédif

The estate, recorded as founded in 1893, has built its reputation on Vouvray wines and on the imposing troglodytic cellars carved into tuffeau, where historic vintages are also kept. Over the course of the 20th century the estate's name and history were consolidated under the name Brédif; in 1980 ownership passed to the Baron de Ladoucette group, which modernized operations while preserving its historic identity.

Production philosophy

The estate focuses on tradition and quality: highlighting Chenin Blanc in its various styles, leveraging the area's clay-limestone terroirs and aging in large underground galleries to produce wines with aging potential and distinctive personality.

Terroir and vineyards

Rochecorbon, Touraine, Loire Valley. Vines on the area's typical terroirs and troglodyte cellars carved into the tuffeau, dating back to the Middle Ages.
