Winery Vigne di San Lorenzo

Discover the story, territory and wines of Vigne di San Lorenzo.

Small farm in Brisighella (RA), founded by Filippo Manetti in 1998; produces organic wines and olive oil with a natural approach.

Winery history Vigne di San Lorenzo

Filippo Manetti began private winemaking in 1997 and established Vigne di San Lorenzo in 1998. The estate developed as an artisanal producer of small batches (e.g. 'Campiume', 'Oudeis', 'Anam'). Activities took place at the Campiume farm and at Podere Oliveta.

Production philosophy

Organic viticulture and production of 'natural' wines: minimal technology use in vineyard and cellar, spontaneous fermentations with native yeasts and a 'do less / little technology' approach.

Terroir and vineyards

Hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the Brisighella and Montesiepe subareas (between Ravenna and Forlì-Cesena provinces). Marly and arenaceous soils; hillside vineyards (some plots around ~200 m asl) and olive groves around ~350 m. Limited-production estate, focused on Sangiovese, Albana, Trebbiano.
