Winery history Villa Otto Lune

Villa Otto Lune was created as a project to study and promote the Sangiovese variety. The Dini family has cultivated Sangiovese since the 1960s on the hills of Rimini (San Martino in Venti and Santa Aquilina). The project has been followed by agronomist/enologist Fabrizio Moltard.

Production philosophy

Organic viticulture: vine, soil and climate are central; human intervention is aimed at accompaniment. Company certified by CCPB.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards on the hills of Rimini (San Martino in Venti and Santa Aquilina). Pliocene-origin soils with overconsolidated marnaceous clays and active limestone; vineyards at about 100 m a.s.l., with thermal excursion and maritime influence.
