Palenque

The project originated from an idea promoted by Luca Gargano (Velier/La Maison & Velier) starting in 2018 and materialized in the Palenqueros series, which labels single palenques and features producers' portraits. The first iteration of the series appeared in recent years with collaborations involving entities such as Tradición Chagoya; the series was later relaunched and distributed through LM&V/Velier with selections of Pure Single Palenque from various Oaxaca villages.

To valorize palenqueros and their traditional knowledge, preserve local artisanal methods, bottle expressions that faithfully reflect the character of a single palenque (terroir, agave variety and technique) and promote additive-free products bottled at natural strength.
