Schladerer

The Schladerer family has been producing fruit spirits since the early 19th century; the documented history of the company as an operation in Staufen dates back to the 19th century and the business is traditionally known as Schwarzwälder Hausbrennerei. In the 20th century Alfred Schladerer consolidated production (including innovations such as the distinctive 1932 four-centuries-style bottle) and the company has remained family-run through to the present generation. Schladerer produces a range of distillates and liqueurs exported to several countries and has implemented sustainability initiatives in production.

Strong connection to the local area and fruit: priority given to ripe raw material and artisanal processing, with attention to sustainable production practices and regional sourcing where possible. The range seeks to combine family tradition with the development of contemporary products.
