Torre Rosazza's Pinot Nero Friuli Grave DOC comes from Guyot-trained vineyards, plants that produce only 55 quintals per hectare, a way to obtain high-quality bunches. The harvest takes place around the first week of September, the destemmed bunches and the skins remain in contact with the musts for a period of 5 days before soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in steel containers kept at a controlled temperature. A percentage of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barriques and is then mixed with the part that is aged in steel. It rests in glass for at least two months before being put on the market.

When poured, it shows a clear ruby red color, typical of Pinot Noir. It releases intense and fruity aromas of small red berried fruits, such as cherries, as well as floral aromas of wild violets and herbaceous-spicy aromatic notes. On the palate it has a good structure, the right flavor and balance in all the components, and an excellent persistence and aroma.

A versatile goblet, excellent to combine with meat-based dishes in particular with roasted turkey; try the combination with pizza.
