Kaiserfost is an excellent amaro produced with 100% alpine herbs and roots, an all-natural liqueur, obtained in an artisanal way, through the infusion and distillation of 47 different carefully selected botanicals (including artemisia absintha, mint, licorice, star anise, rhubarb, cinchona, cloves and others), to which a minimum quantity of sugar and high quality cereal alcohol are added.
Kaiserfost is a variant of the ancient recipe produced in 1932 by the Valentini Distilleries, a amaro obtained with the use of wild herbs and roots harvested in the Trentino area.
The new amaro has the addition of specially selected botanicals that are best expressed even when mixed, such as fresh ginger root and cardamom.
Kaiserfost is aged for six months in French oak barrels, previously used for Brandy Valentini. It can be enjoyed smooth as an aperitif or as a digestive, at room temperature or iced, but it is also ideal for creating very refreshing and natural cocktails and long drinks, such as the Kaiser-Mule.
