Marzadro is not just a brand, but a family with years of experience in the art of distillation and liqueur. Its amaro comes from the infusion of 20 botanicals in alcohol for 30 days, among which we find: juniper, mint, rhubarb, chamomile, genepì and gentian. The powerful herbal infusion obtained is slightly diluted with water from Trentino and sugar, giving rise to an extraordinary, perfectly balanced product.
At sight it appears to have a beautiful, clear and brilliant ruby red colour. The bouquet intoxicates with a mixture of balsamic scents and notes of dark spices, hints of noble woods and undergrowth, the bitter note, reminiscent of cinchona, prevails over everything. A soft but powerful sip, young and perfectly balanced between the bitter perception and the sweet one of the spices.
The finish is satisfying and persistent, all to be savored. Excellent liqueur to sip after a meal.

Water-bath distillation in a discontinuous pot still for grappas; for Gin Luz documented separate maceration/infusion of botanicals with subsequent distillation (use of continuous/regulated stills also documented for some production phases).
Ageing
Aging in small casks of fine woods for barrel-aged grappas; some expressions use solera systems or long periods of resting in casks for reserves.
