The Meyer's Bitter factory was founded by the Meyers in the city of Stadthagen, in North Rhine, one of the sixteen federal states of Germany in the year 1747. Gradually, this artisanal amaro produced by Eduard Meyer was extremely successful and made itself known even outside of the hometown; thus the first prizes and international recognitions begin to arrive for its great quality.

Amaro Meyer's Bitter is composed of 40 carefully selected herbs and harvested every year in the splendid Bernese Alps, an excellent blend that has made this amaro already known since the end of the 19th century.

A panacea for the mind and body. Meyer's Bitter is ideal as a digestive and surprising in mixing. Herbaceous and complex on the nose, pleasantly sweet but not cloying, with hints of spices and flowers and well-balanced green notes.
