The Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG produced by Ripa della Volta from the Ottella winery is a red wine that perfectly embodies the elegance and complexity typical of this renowned denomination. This wine stands out for its unique winemaking process, which includes the drying of the grapes, typically Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. After harvesting, the grapes are left to dry for several months on special mats, losing water and concentrating in sugars and aromas, a process that gives the wine its intensity and richness.

The color is a deep garnet red, a clear sign of the maturation and drying of the grapes. On the nose, Ottella's Amarone della Valpolicella reveals a rich and complex bouquet with notes of ripe fruit, such as cherry and plum, enriched by hints of spices, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is robust and velvety, with an impeccable balance between acidity and tannins that promises excellent longevity. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste typical of Amarone, encouraging another sip.

Perfect to serve with red meats, game dishes, aged cheeses, or as a meditation wine, Ripa della Volta's Amarone della Valpolicella also pairs splendidly with complex and savory dishes. Additionally, it is a wine that can benefit from further aging in the bottle, developing even more aromatic and flavor nuances.

This Amarone is not just a wine but a true sensory experience that celebrates the winemaking tradition of Valpolicella, making every occasion special. It is ideal for completing the cellar of lovers of robust and structured wines.
