The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC from Ripa della Volta, produced by the acclaimed Ottella winery, is a red wine of rare complexity and exquisite craftsmanship. This wine immediately captivates with its deep ruby color, a prelude to a unique sensory experience.

The production of Valpolicella Ripasso involves a second fermentation process together with the pomace of the prestigious Amarone, a method that reflects the very essence of this wine: richness and depth. On the nose, it presents an intense bouquet where notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, stand out, enriched by spicy hints of vanilla and black pepper, evidence of an elegant maturation in barrique.

On the palate, Ottella's Valpolicella Ripasso DOC reveals a robust yet velvety structure. The harmony between the lively acidity and well-integrated tannins serves as the backdrop for a persistent taste that echoes the same olfactory sensations of ripe fruit and spices, with a finish that surprises with its long duration.

Ideal for accompanying hearty dishes such as roast red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this wine is also perfect for moments of meditation. Its complexity and its extraordinary ability to evolve over time make it an ideal candidate for aging, promising to unveil new nuances year after year.

Serve at a temperature of around 16-18°C to fully appreciate its richness and complexity. A true gem of Venetian viticulture, the Valpolicella Ripasso DOC from Ripa della Volta, Ottella, is a wine that celebrates Italian winemaking excellence and tradition.
