On the palate it confirms a compact texture, with present but well-integrated tannins and freshness that supports the drinking experience. The persistence is moderate, offering returns of red fruit, spicy echoes and a pleasant saline finish. It pairs with traditional dishes based on red meat, game birds or aged cheeses, without overpowering them. It can be enjoyed now and may evolve pleasantly in bottle over the coming years. Serve at around 16–18°C. A light decanting is recommended if served at the table.
