Ballistarius IGT - Letrari is a white wine produced by the Letrari winery, located in the Trentino region, known for its long winemaking tradition and the production of high quality wines. Letrari, founded in 1976, has consolidated its reputation thanks to the production of wines that best express the varietal characteristics of the grapes and the unique terroir of Trentino.

The name "Ballistarius" evokes historical images of archers and ballistaeers, drawing attention to the precision and attention to detail that the Letrari winery employs in the production of its wines. As an IGT (Typical Geographical Indication), this wine represents an expression of oenological creativity, allowing the winery to experiment outside the rigid rules of more traditional appellations.

Although the technical specifications of Ballistarius IGT may vary depending on the vintage and the varietal composition chosen by the winery, generally this wine is characterized by its rich aromatic profile and its balanced structure. The grape varieties used for the production of this white wine can include some of the most representative of the Trentino area, enhanced by careful vinification aimed at preserving the freshness and varietal aromas.

Visually, Ballistarius presents itself with a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, the bouquet is composed of a wide range of aromas which can include notes of white pulp fruits, flowers and mineral hints, enriched by aromatic nuances deriving from the winemaking process and, possibly, from a brief passage in wood.

In the mouth, the wine offers a beautiful freshness and a pleasant acidity, with flavors that reflect the olfactory sensations and a structure that guarantees good gustatory persistence. The versatility of Ballistarius IGT makes it suitable for accompanying a wide variety of dishes, from seafood to vegetable-based preparations and fish dishes.
