Produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, meticulously selected from the family-owned vineyards of Alessandria situated around Monforte d'Alba, this wine expresses a deep connection with its territory of origin. The unique microclimate and rich soil impart distinctive characteristics to these grapes, which Gianfranco Alessandria has skillfully enhanced through sustainable cultivation methods and careful work in the cellar.
Vinification occurs with traditional maceration, followed by aging in steel tanks to preserve the freshness and authenticity of the fruit. The result is a wine of intense ruby red color, with violet reflections that herald the youth and vitality of the glass.
On the nose, the Barbera D'Alba DOC "Vittoria" releases intense aromas of red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, enriched by slight spicy notes and a subtle touch of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full and harmonious, with a good acidic structure typical of the Barbera variety, perfectly balanced with soft tannins and a remarkable taste persistence.
Ideal for accompanying robust dishes of Piedmontese cuisine, like braised meats, stews, and aged cheeses, the Barbera D'Alba DOC "Vittoria" - Magnum is an excellent table companion that can shine in any formal or informal occasion. A true expression of territory and tradition, destined to delight wine enthusiasts.
