The Barbera d'Asti DOCG "Le Orme" from Chiarlo shows a lively, direct character typical of Barbera, with an intense ruby color and violet highlights. On the nose it offers red fruits, cherry and raspberry, along with light spicy notes and hints of fresh herbs. The palate is fresh and savory, with balanced acidity supporting the fruity flavors; the body is medium, and soft tannins provide structure without weighing it down. The finish is persistent and invites a second sip.

Well suited to everyday dishes, it pairs nicely with pasta in meat sauces, grilled red meats and semi‑firm cheeses. Serve slightly cool, around 16–18 °C, and drink within a few years to enjoy its primary freshness. For storage, keep in a cool, stable place; open the bottle shortly before serving to best appreciate its characteristics.
