The Barolo DOCG Cannubi from Chiarlo presents a sober and elegant character. In the glass it shows a deep ruby color with garnet highlights. On the nose it offers a harmonious bouquet where ripe red fruit sensations emerge, delicate tertiary notes and a discreet spiciness that does not overpower the overall profile. The olfactory fabric unfolds slowly, occasionally revealing floral hints and a faint mineral note that helps define the overall balance. The approach is measured, inviting a focused tasting rather than immediate consumption.

On the palate it is balanced: well-defined tannins, acidity present but balanced, and a persistence that recalls some of the aromas perceived on the nose. It suits savory dishes and aged cheeses, as well as moments of contemplative tasting without food. It is suitable for those seeking a Barolo with a composed profile and without excess, capable of offering complexity while maintaining a certain stylistic sobriety.
