Roberto Voerzio's Barbera D'Asti Superiore represents a sublime expression of one of Piemonte's most beloved grape varieties. This wine is produced from selected grapes from the old vineyards located on the Asti hills, renowned for their clay and limestone soil, which imparts complexity and minerality to the wine.

The vinification follows traditional methods with fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a maturation period in French oak barriques. These barrels enrich the wine with vanilla and spicy tones without overwhelming the characteristic fruitiness of Barbera.

The color is a deep red with violet reflections. On the nose, Roberto Voerzio's Barbera D'Asti Superiore releases intense aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and gently toasted notes of chocolate and coffee. On the palate, the wine is vigorous yet balanced; the typical acidity of Barbera perfectly blends with the soft and velvety tannins, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Ideal for accompanying robust dishes like braised meats, stews, and grilled red meats, this wine also shines when paired with aged cheeses. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18°C to enhance all its nuances.

With the Barbera D'Asti Superiore, Roberto Voerzio once again demonstrates his mastery in creating wines of great structure and refinement, which continue to captivate wine lovers worldwide.
