With refined elegance and complexity, the Barolo Cerequio DOCG produced by Damilano winery stands out for its deep connection with its originating terroir, one of the most prestigious MGA (Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive) of Barolo. This wine is an icon of Piedmontese viticulture, known for its extraordinary aging potential.

Made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, Barolo Cerequio undergoes a fermentation process followed by aging that includes at least two years in large oak barrels, followed by further refining in the bottle. This traditional method gives the wine a solid structure and a harmonious balance between intense tannins and fresh acidity.

Visually, it presents an intense garnet red color, tending towards orange with aging. The olfactory profile is a charming interplay of aromas: ripe red fruits, spicy notes of tobacco and leather, and an elegant balsamic touch. On the palate, Barolo Cerequio reveals a full and robust body, with a rich palate that reflects the intensity of the nose. Flavors of cherry, plum, and a slight hint of chocolate blend into a long and persistent finish.

Ideal for pairing with rich dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Barolo is a sublime expression of power and finesse, continuing to evolve marvelously over the years. A wine that is sure to impress the most demanding connoisseurs and represents an excellent choice for any refined cellar.
