The Barolo DOCG Brunate by M. Marengo is a red wine that magnificently represents the elegance and complexity typical of the Barolo region, in the heart of Piedmont. This wine is exclusively made with Nebbiolo grapes, manually harvested from the prestigious Brunate cru, known for its soil rich in marl and sand, giving the wine a distinctive structure and aromatic profile.

Marengo's Barolo Brunate undergoes a long maturation period in large oak barrels, which allows it to develop its organoleptic complexity. The result is a wine with a deep garnet red color, with hints that tend towards orange as it ages.

On the nose, Barolo Brunate opens with an intense and complex bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, along with nuances of withered flowers, tobacco, and sweet spices. These aromas intermingle with subtle hints of leather and wet earth, adding a rich olfactory complexity.

On the palate, the wine displays a nice body and a superb balance between robust tannic structure and fresh acidity. The fruity and spicy notes blend into a long and lingering aftertaste, featuring elegant touches of chocolate and coffee.

Perfect to serve with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Brunate by M. Marengo is an outstanding representative of the Langhe territory and is already very enjoyable to drink, but also has great aging potential. This Barolo is an ideal choice for lovers of complex and structured wines, eager to explore the depth and tradition of Piedmont's winemaking.
