Pairing Red meats, game, aged cheeses
It opens with a broad yet measured bouquet, where aromas of withered rose, cherry preserved in spirit and hints of sweet spices emerge; the mineral note typical of Nebbiolo accompanies everything without overpowering. On the palate it shows a taut and vibrant texture, with fine and still-young tannins that support a medium-full body; the acidity keeps the wine fresh and the finish is centered on fruit and a sanguine note. The overall expression is elegant, well balanced and true to the style of the La Morra hill, with a pleasant sense of depth rather than power.

It pairs well with dishes from the Piedmontese tradition — braised meats, tajarin with meat ragù, aged cheeses — but also stands up to more structured preparations featuring mushrooms or roasts. Serve at a not-too-high temperature to highlight acidity and aromas; a few years in the cellar will refine the tannins and complexity. An excellent choice for those seeking a characterful organic Barolo, to drink now with care or to follow as it evolves.
