Rich red meats and aged cheeses |
On the palate it displays structure and tannins softened by age, with good acidity supporting the sip and a long, savory finish. The color shows garnet hues that confirm its age, while the body remains vigorous yet rounded. This label is suitable for solitary tasting after adequate aeration, or paired with substantial meat dishes, aged cheeses and savory preparations. If you have a bottle, it is advisable to open it in advance to allow the more complex expressions to emerge; alternatively, it can be cellared further to observe additional evolutions in bottle.
