Beaune Bastion Rouge - Domaine Chanson is a red wine from the renowned wine-growing region of Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, France. Produced by Domaine Chanson, a historic winery with roots dating back to 1750, this wine is an excellent example of Burgundian craftsmanship and tradition in producing high-quality Pinot Noir wines.

The "Bastion" in the name refers to the historic fortifications of Beaune, a symbol of protection and guardianship, which is reflected in the attention and care dedicated by Domaine Chanson to the production of this wine. The selection of grapes comes from vineyards located within the Beaune appellation, famous for their calcareous-clayey soil which, together with the unique microclimate of the area, contributes to giving the wine its characteristic elegance and complexity.

At sight, Beaune Bastion Rouge has an intense ruby red color, with reflections that tend towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, enriched by floral nuances, sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla, evidence of the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine reveals an elegant tannic structure, balanced by a lively freshness that enhances its fruity flavors and aromatic complexity. The texture is fine and seductive, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of harmony and depth.

Ideal in combination with red meat dishes, roast poultry, mushroom dishes and medium-aged cheeses, Domaine Chanson's Beaune Bastion Rouge is also a meditation wine, which can be appreciated on its own to discover all its facets.
