The name James Burroughs gave to his gin in 1863 was inspired by the English guards who controlled the Tower of London called 'Beefeater'.
Beefeater Classic is the most exported Premium Gin in the world, an exceptionally fresh, pure and lively gin. Its recipe is complex and gives it captivating citrus and fruity notes, for a particularly balanced, complete and diversified taste.
The distribution of this distillate today is managed by Pernod Ricard, a large French company specializing in wines and spirits.
Produced with 9 different natural botanicals, which are left to macerate for 24 hours in alcohol before being distilled.The botanicals used are: juniper, orange peel, lemon and grapefruit, coriander, licorice, angelica root, iris root, almond . In the mouth the taste smells of citrus, various vegetable elements and licorice; rather dry and balanced.
