Aged for 21 years, the Benromach 21 YO stands out for its aromatic complexity and extraordinary depth of flavor. On the nose, it offers a symphony of aromas ranging from malt and grain notes to those of ripe fruits such as plums and oranges, enriched by a touch of lightly smoked peat and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the palate, it wraps the mouth with a rich and oily texture, with an intense expression of flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, and toffee, which blend harmoniously with hints of leather and tobacco. The finish is long and warm, with a delicate return of smoky notes that linger until the last sip.
The Benromach 21 YO is bottled in its purest form, without chill filtration, to preserve all its rich aromas and flavors. Presented in an elegant cased packaging, this whisky represents a prestigious choice for quality whisky lovers and stands as a magnificent option for special gifts or to enhance a connoisseur’s collection.
Ideal to be enjoyed neat or with a small addition of water to further enhance the complexity of its bouquet.

Distillation
Whisky: double distillation in copper pot stills with manual cut management; extended fermentation in larch washbacks. Gin: vapour-infusion in a copper still ('Peggy'), botanicals placed in a basket separated from the distillate.
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks stored in dunnage warehouses at stable temperatures; predominant use of first-fill barrels (bourbon and sherry) and experimentation with virgin casks and wine casks for the Contrasts releases.
