"May Chang" was born from an imaginative idea of one of the greatest talents of Italian gin, a particular bottle that fully represents all the great personality of Roby Marton. After a long apprenticeship in the trade of liqueurs and distillates, with which he was able to deepen his knowledge, he began his personal journey in the distillation of Gin, giving life to high quality distillates.
To make "May Chang" classic botanicals are used with the addition of a particular ingredient: the berries of the Litsea Cubeda, a shrub native to Southeast Asia.
It is transparent and crystalline. Intense citrus scents of lemongrass, lime peel and yutzu arrive on the nose, which are combined with delicate aromas of verbena and floral notes. Enveloping spicy sensations follow, hints of peppermint and pleasant references of fresh juniper berries. The taste is decidedly soft and fruity, with a rich and enveloping aroma, with a citrine and balsamic finish.
Ideal drunk neat or with ice, perfect for making an excellent gin and tonic.
