Bitter Campari is undoubtedly the most famous aperitif of our country. It was born in 1860 by Gaspare Campari, owner of a small bar in Novara who delighted in creating different aperitifs for his customers. Surely he could never have imagined that he was inventing the recipe, still unchanged today, of the most famous alcoholic bitter in the world!

Bitter Campari is the flagship product of the Campari group, a drink used as an aperitif, bitter and also as a amaro, consumed in over 190 countries.

It is produced with the best bitter herbs, fruit and aromatic plants, and the right amount of water and alcohol. Excellent consumed straight or with soda, but also the basis of countless famous cocktails all over the world, including the Negroni.

It captivates with its characteristic bright ruby red color, and offers the nose fruity aromas of currant and raspberry, mixed with hints of cinnamon, pink pepper and cloves, as well as notes of medicinal and aromatic herbs. In the mouth, the taste is dry and bitter, however pleasantly rounded, characterized by sweet vanilla and spicy notes, which evolve into a smooth, citrusy and bitter finish that is very pleasant on the palate.
