A new version of the original recipe that Gaspare Campari handed down to his son Davide, with the addition of finishing in Bourbon barrels has given rise to Campari Cask Tales a great masterpiece with a new taste capable of further enhancing the greatness of the classic Campari.
With the support of some of the best bartenders in the world, Campari has achieved the creation of a product with a rather refined taste profile, with an extremely creamier texture, sweet almond aromas and an aftertaste to be savoured.
It captivates with its beautiful deep and intense red color, enriched by fruity and sweet aromas with a slight final spiciness. In the mouth, the taste is pleasantly bitter, punctuated by woody notes of oak and herbaceous hints, which accompany a finish with an aftertaste of incense and spices, to which are added flavors of dried fruit, honey and vanilla, with a slight smoky and toasted aroma , which soften the classic bitter scent.

Distillation
Varies by brand and category. Official examples: SKYY Vodka uses a proprietary quadruple distillation and triple filtration process; BULLDOG Gin is described as quadruple distillation in traditional copper stills; some gins (e.g. O'ndina) are produced in small batches. Specific methods depend on the individual brand.
Ageing
Varies by brand: some amari and liqueurs undergo finishing/ageing; Braulio is aged in Slavonian oak barrels (minimum 15 months); tequila and rum variants are matured in casks (e.g. Espolòn offers finishes in ex‑bourbon barrels or in chardonnay casks and reposado/añejo expressions with different woods).
