Pierre Ferraud & Fils' Brouilly Domaine Rolland AOP is a distinctive example of Cru Beaujolais, representing one of the ten crus of the Beaujolais region of southern Burgundy, France. This wine, produced with Gamay grapes, reflects the unique combination of volcanic terroir and oenological savoir-faire that characterizes Brouilly, the southernmost of the Beaujolais crus.

Pierre Ferraud & Fils, a winery with deep roots in the winemaking tradition of Beaujolais and Burgundy, is known for producing wines that express the varietal characteristics typical of the terroir with precision and elegance. Attention to detail, from vineyard care to winemaking and aging, allows us to produce high-quality wines that celebrate the identity and complexity of Gamay.

Brouilly Domaine Rolland AOP stands out for its structure and depth, offering a vibrant example of how Gamay can express itself in a varied way depending on the specificities of the terroir. Winemaking aims to preserve the fruity and floral characteristics of the grape, with controlled maceration and fermentation to extract color, aromas and a balanced tannic structure. The refinement, often short and in steel or in containers that do not impart additional aromas, ensures that the wine maintains its freshness and expressiveness.

Visually, Brouilly Domaine Rolland AOP presents itself with a brilliant ruby red color, with violet reflections that testify to its youth. On the nose, the wine explodes with intense aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, floral accents and a light spiciness. These primary scents are typical of Gamay and reflect the elegance and liveliness that can be expected from a Brouilly wine.

In the mouth, the wine is fresh and balanced, with a lively acidity that supports the fruity palate and gives the wine a pleasant drinkability. The tannins are soft and well integrated, making this Brouilly accessible when young, but also capable of some aging. The finish is clean, with an aromatic persistence that invites another sip.

Perfect as an accompaniment to white meats, poultry dishes, medium-aged cheeses or even tasty fish, Brouilly Domaine Rolland AOP by Pierre Ferraud & Fils is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that combines the typicality of Gamay with specificity of the Brouilly terroir, offering an authentic and satisfying tasting experience.
