The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva in Jeroboam format, presented in a wooden case by Canalicchio Di Sopra, represents a majestic work in the world of wine, a symbol of luxury, tradition and oenological quality of an exceptional level. The choice of a Jeroboam format, which corresponds to 3 liters of wine, not only guarantees a spectacular visual presence but is also a prudent choice for the aging of the wine, allowing it to develop and mature in a more harmonious and prolonged way over time.

Canalicchio Di Sopra is famous for its ability to produce Brunello di Montalcino of extraordinary complexity and depth, the result of the careful selection of Sangiovese grapes and a rigorous winemaking and aging process. The Reserve represents the quintessence of the production of this winery, with wines that are released only in the best years and after a long maturation period, exceeding the minimum requirements established for Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, including refinement in wooden barrels and a further period in the bottle to refine to perfection.

The presentation in a wooden case not only protects the precious contents but also adds significant aesthetic value, making this Jeroboam di Brunello Riserva a collector's item, a prestigious gift or the center of attraction on celebratory occasions.

Visually, Brunello Riserva has an intense ruby red color, tending towards garnet as it ages. On the nose, complex notes of ripe red fruit, spices, tobacco, leather and undergrowth stand out, enriched by balsamic and mineral nuances that reflect the excellence of the Montalcino terroir and the art of winemaking.

In the mouth, the wine exhibits extraordinary richness and structure, with silky but present tannins that perfectly balance the acidity, contributing to a sensation of balance and completeness. The flavors are an echo of the olfactory bouquet, with additions of chocolate and vanilla that blend into a long and persistent finish, testifying to the superb quality and aging potential of the wine.

Ideal for tasting in company, the Jeroboam format of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva di Canalicchio Di Sopra is perfect for special occasions, capable of elevating every moment and offering an unforgettable tasting experience. Paired with rich dishes such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, this Brunello Riserva reveals itself in all its majesty, celebrating the greatness of Sangiovese and the winemaking art of Canalicchio Di Sopra

Winery history
Founded in 1962 by Primo Pacenti, Canalicchio di Sopra has grown as a family-run estate committed to improving the quality of Montalcino wines. The winery's first bottle of Brunello dates to 1966, and in 1967 the estate was among the founding members of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino. Today it is managed by successive generations who combine tradition and innovation.
