The Cabernet Sauvignon DOC from Montepirolo, produced by San Patrignano in the Colli di Rimini, presents itself with directness and restraint. Ruby color with violet reflections, on the nose notes of ripe black fruit such as blackcurrant and plum, accompanied by light herbal tones and delicate spices. The palate is sapid and fresh, with present but balanced tannins that support a linear structure without excess. The finish is of medium length, leaving a clean fruit impression and a slight almond note.

A wine suited to drinkers seeking an honest reading of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Colli di Rimini context; it works well for social drinking and pairing with regional dishes. Recommended with grilled red meats, rustic ragùs and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18 °C and open the bottle shortly before serving to allow the wine to express itself fully.
