Cabernet Sauvignon Hussonet by Haras de Pirque is a red wine whose name identifies the grape variety and the Hussonet range. The available information does not specify a vintage, detailed origin, winemaking methods or ageing period. This description therefore focuses on what is known and on the profile generally associated with Cabernet Sauvignon, without assigning unconfirmed characteristics to the wine. The variety is often chosen for its recognisable structure and suitability at the table. Its intensity, aromas and texture can nevertheless vary from bottle to bottle and according to vintage.

It can be served at a moderate temperature, allowing the wine room to express itself in the glass. Opening it in advance is not necessarily required and may depend on the condition of the bottle. Cabernet Sauvignon is traditionally paired with red meat, roasts and savoury dishes, or with moderately aged cheeses. These general suggestions relate to the grape variety and are not a substitute for assessing the specific wine. To find the best pairing, consider the recipe, the richness of the dish and personal preferences. The bottle can therefore take its place at a convivial meal, served simply and without overpowering the flavours of the food.

Shop/cellar with a horseshoe-shaped structure that recalls the estate's equestrian origin. Strong commitment to sustainability and declared organic viticultural practices. Vineyards in the Andean sector of the Maipo Valley, featuring notable wines such as Albis, Pitío, Galantas, Ecràl and Hussonet. Some activities are managed by Antinori Chile SpA
Winery history
The estate originated on a large property with roots in purebred horse breeding; the name pays homage to a haras founded in 1892. Over the years the property was developed for viticulture and, from the 2000s, the Antinori family progressively became involved in the project, eventually leading operations through Antinori Chile SpA. The first wine linked to the Antinori family's involvement is Albis, and subsequently the winery consolidated a production based on high-performing parcels in the Andean Maipo area.
Production philosophy
Focus on terroir-driven quality and sustainability: the winery emphasizes the expression of the Maipo Andes Valley terroir, practices organic viticulture in its designated vineyards, and uses winemaking processes designed to minimize environmental impact.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in Pirque, in the eastern part of the Maipo Valley, at the foothills of the Andes, about 30 km south of Santiago. Some wines use grapes sourced from other selected areas, such as the Leyda Valley, for specific white wine expressions.
