Querciabella's Camartina Toscana Rosso IGT is a wine that embodies the essence of organic and biodynamic viticulture in the Tuscany region, reflecting the winery's commitment to excellence and sustainability. This wine represents one of the highest expressions of Super Tuscans, a term that indicates those high quality Tuscan wines that often use grape varieties not traditionally associated with the region, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, combined in this case with Sangiovese, to create unique blends and memorable.

Querciabella, located in the heart of Chianti Classico and also extending into the Maremma, has always focused on environmentally friendly agricultural practices, without the use of synthetic chemicals, to preserve biodiversity and the health of the soil. The biodynamic philosophy, which sees the vineyard as an interconnected ecosystem, translates into wines that are a pure expression of the terroir.

Camartina was born in 1981 and since then has only been produced in the best vintages, demonstrating Querciabella's attention to quality rather than quantity. The careful selection of grapes, meticulous vinification and aging in French oak barriques give this wine exceptional complexity and structure.

Visually, Camartina has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits open up, enriched by spicy, balsamic and tobacco notes, which highlight the refinement and depth of the wine. The use of wood is well integrated, adding complexity without overpowering the fruit.

In the mouth, Camartina offers a rich and enveloping taste experience, with soft and ripe tannins that blend perfectly with the lively acidity, leading to an impeccable balance. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant persistence of fruity and spicy flavours.

This wine is an excellent companion for complex and rich dishes, such as grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses, but it is also magnificent to enjoy on its own, as a moment of meditation to fully appreciate its complexity and the mastery of Querciabella.

In summary, Querciabella's Camartina Toscana Rosso IGT is not just a wine, but a declaration of the winery's commitment to excellence and sustainability, offering a tasting experience that leaves an indelible mark on the wine enthusiast.
