The Chablis from Domaine Dupré is a classic example of this beloved appellation from the north of Burgundy. With its distinctive terroir, the wine reflects the pure expression of the Chardonnay grape, cultivated in the calcareous and marl soils that are typical of the region. Visually, it presents a bright straw yellow color, while the nose immediately reveals fresh and mineral notes, accompanied by hints of white-fleshed fruit such as apple and melon.

On the palate, Domaine Dupré's Chablis stands out for its vibrant acidity and its elegant structure, making it an ideal companion for raw fish, oysters, or simply as an aperitif. The persistence of the mineral aftertaste confirms the typicality and high quality of this wine.

Those seeking a Chablis that sincerely expresses the character of its terroir will find in Domaine Dupré a specimen that meets expectations with integrity and finesse. Perfect to be enjoyed young, it can also benefit from brief aging.

Domaine Dupré – Winery in Borgogna (Mâconnais)

Discover the story and wines of Domaine Dupré.

Family-owned estate in the Mâconnais (Burgundy) producing the region's characteristic white and red wines, with considered viticultural practices and careful soil management.
Region: Borgogna (Mâconnais)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté, Gamay
Production focused on wines from the Mâconnais and Burgundy. Vineyards in the localities of Mancey and Royer, with soil management through cover cropping. Reasoned viticulture with the "Reasoned Agriculture" certification/approach as noted in the sources. Vinification supported by the cooperative Caves des Vignerons de Mancey. Family-run, developed and consolidated over recent decades.
Winery history
The estate began as a mixed farm in the 1950s and gradually shifted to viticulture. Jean‑Christophe Dupré joined the estate in 1990, followed by Vincent in 1994; with the arrival of Jean‑Baptiste, according to sources, the estate expanded its vineyard holdings to the current size cited in public descriptions. Over time the family acquired small parcels in the villages of Royer and Mancey and scaled back livestock farming, concentrating on grape quality and land management.
Production philosophy
Practices focused on sustainability and yield control: soil cover, Royat Cordon pruning to limit yields, use of organic amendments and traceability of operations. The estate applies "Reasoned viticulture" and declares the goal of preserving the viticultural heritage of the Mâconnais.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the villages of Mancey and Royer. White marls for Chardonnay, red soils for Pinot Noir and clay‑limestone soils for Gamay in the surrounding valleys.
