The 2019 Chablis Grand Régnard from the Régnard collection is an excellent representation of the vintage and Régnard's ability to create wines that faithfully express the unique terroir of Chablis. This wine, which comes from one of Burgundy's most prestigious and recognized wine regions, embodies the distinctive characteristics that have made Chablis world-famous: sharp minerality, fruit purity and a lively freshness.

In 2019, climatic conditions in the Chablis region favored the production of exceptional wines, characterized by an impeccable balance between acidity and fruit ripeness, giving Chablis Grand Régnard a complex aromatic identity and elegant structure. Régnard, with its long history and reputation for producing high-quality Chablis, has been able to exploit these conditions to produce a wine that reflects the excellence of the vintage.

The Chablis Grand Régnard 2019 is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, selected from the best vineyards in the region, which are characterized by a calcareous soil rich in marine fossils. This composition of the soil is fundamental for giving the wine its characteristic minerality and aromatic complexity. Winemaking is aimed at preserving the freshness and expressiveness of the fruit, with the controlled use of wood to enrich the wine without overpowering its natural flavours.

Visually, the wine presents itself with a bright straw yellow color, a sign of its youth and freshness. On the nose, the Chablis Grand Régnard 2019 reveals a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of citrus, green apple, and a distinctive mineral vein reminiscent of flint, accompanied by subtle floral hints.

In the mouth, the wine expresses a perfect harmony between aromatic intensity and structure. The lively acidity supports a palette of flavors ranging from ripe white pulp fruit to mineral and saline nuances, typical of the best Chablis, culminating in a long and clean finish that leaves a persistent sensation of freshness and purity.

The 2019 Chablis Grand Régnard pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, particularly seafood, oysters, grilled fish and goat's cheeses, but is also excellent enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, offering a tasting experience that celebrates the quintessence of Chablis.

In conclusion, the Chablis Grand Régnard 2019 Collection by Régnard is a testimony to the exceptional vintage and winemaking art that characterizes this historic maison, offering wine lovers an example of Chablis that combines tradition, quality and authentic expression of the territory.
