The Chablis Régnard Grand Cuvée Tête de Cuvée represents the most refined and prestigious expression of the Régnard house, one of Chablis' historic wineries with a reputation for excellence in producing wines that capture the pure, mineral essence for which Chablis is famous. This special cuvée is selected from the best batches of wine produced by the cellar, embodying the pinnacle of Régnard quality and winemaking mastery.

Like a Tête de Cuvée, the Chablis Régnard Grand Cuvée is produced only in the best vintages and in limited quantities, ensuring a meticulous focus on every detail of the winemaking process, from the care of the vineyards to the selection of the grapes, up to the aging and bottling. The result is a Chablis of exceptional complexity, elegance and aging capacity.

Produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, typical of Chablis, Régnard's Grand Cuvée Tête de Cuvée reflects the region's characteristic Kimmeridgian soil, rich in marine fossils and limestone, which gives the wines their famous minerality and freshness. Scrupulous attention to winemaking and aging, often partly in French oak barrels to add structure and complexity without overpowering the purity of the fruit, distinguishes this cuvée as a superior expression of Chablis.

In appearance, the Chablis Régnard Grand Cuvée has a light straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it opens with a rich and intensely aromatic bouquet, offering notes of citrus, white pulp fruit such as apple and pear, together with floral, mineral nuances and a subtle touch of vanilla and spices, resulting from the elegant integration of wood.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary complexity and depth, with a perfect balance between the acidic freshness, the sharp minerality and the richness of the fruit. The texture is both creamy and vibrant, leading to a long, lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression of refinement and purity.

Ideal as a luxury aperitif, the Chablis Régnard Grand Cuvée Tête de Cuvée is also a perfect accompaniment to a range of refined dishes, from delicate starters to main courses based on fish, seafood or poultry, where its complexity and freshness can shine.

In conclusion, the Chablis Régnard Grand Cuvée Tête de Cuvée represents the pinnacle of Régnard's winemaking art, offering wine lovers a tasting experience that celebrates the tradition, excellence and uniqueness of the Chablis terroir.

Over time the vineyard has expanded to include plots in appellations such as Maranges, Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet.
