The Chambave Muscat Passito - Prieuré - 375ml - La Crotta di Vegneron is a sweet meditation wine, produced in the Aosta Valley, a region known for its high quality wines and for its particular climatic and geological conditions which favor production of distinctive and aromatic wines. This passito wine represents the expression of an ancient winemaking tradition, in which Moscato grapes are left to dry to concentrate sugars, aromas and acidity, resulting in a wine of great complexity and intensity.

La Crotta di Vegneron is a wine cooperative that brings together numerous winemakers from the Chambave area, with the aim of enhancing the native vines and the peculiarities of the territory. Muscat, or Moscato, is one of the most emblematic vines of this area, appreciated for its ability to produce aromatic wines, both dry and sweet.

Chambave Muscat Passito Prieuré is characterized by its intense golden color, which anticipates the olfactory and gustatory richness of the wine. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of candied fruit, dehydrated apricot, honey, sweet spices and a light touch of citrus, which blend into an aromatic profile of extraordinary elegance.

In the mouth, the wine is rich and viscous, with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity which maintains its freshness and enhances its intense and persistent flavours. The complexity of the aromas perceived on the nose is also found on the palate, adding layers of flavor ranging from dried fruit to vanilla, with a long and pleasantly bitter finish that invites another sip.

Packaged in 375ml bottles, perfect for tasting or to conclude a special dinner, the Chambave Muscat Passito Prieuré is a wine that lends itself magnificently as an accompaniment to desserts, blue cheeses or to be enjoyed alone as a meditation wine. Its richness and intensity also make it an excellent candidate for aging, capable of developing further aromatic nuances over time.
