The Champagne Blanc de Blancs by Delamotte is one of the most refined and pure expressions of Chardonnay from the esteemed Champagne region in France. This sparkling wine is distinguished by its elegant and persistent effervescence, offering a delightful anticipation of its sensory qualities. On the nose, the Delamotte Blanc de Blancs displays delicate aromas of white flowers, notes of fresh citrus, and a subtle hint of minerality - a testament to the chalky terroir on which the grapes are grown. On the palate, the complexity intensifies with flavors of green apple, pear, and hints of brioche, courtesy of its prolonged lees aging. The acidity is vibrant and well-balanced by the creaminess of the sip, leading to a long and satisfying finish. The Delamotte Blanc de Blancs is an excellent choice for special occasions or as a refined start to a dinner.

Winery history
Founded in 1760, Delamotte is one of the oldest Champagne houses. Its historic base is in Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger and, over the course of the 20th century, its fate became linked with that of other local houses. Since 1988 it has been part of the Laurent‑Perrier group and shares history and resources with its sister house Salon.
Production philosophy
Delamotte’s work places terroir at the centre: wines built on the purity and freshness of Chardonnay, with respect for the vineyard and attention to naturalness. The range is deliberately limited and designed to be accessible yet refined, with the aim of enhancing pleasure and conviviality.
Terroir and vineyards
The cellars and production are based in Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. The wines are made from grapes sourced from parcels in the Côte des Blancs, including Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger, Avize, Oger and Cramant, grown on the area's characteristic limestone soils.
