The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Second Skin in magnum format from Ruinart offers a refined, measured profile. As a blanc de blancs it shows fine, lively bubbles, aromas of white flowers, citrus and hints of white‑fleshed fruit, supported by a saline freshness. On the palate it displays subtle creaminess and a smooth texture, with light mineral nuances that add to the overall balance. The structure is light yet present, favoring clarity and linear drinkability; the finish is precise and persistent without excess.

It pairs well with fish starters, shellfish, sushi and delicate preparations, as well as fresh cheeses and vegetable dishes; its versatility makes it suitable both as an aperitif and with more elaborate menus. The magnum format is convenient for sharing and helps maintain a more stable temperature during service, enhancing the aromatic development in the glass. Recommended to taste at 7–9 °C, in generous glasses that promote aromatic expression and the perception of creaminess.

Winery history
Founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. In the 18th century the House acquired the underground crayères in Reims for ageing; the family became Ruinart de Brimont in 1817. The House continues its historic activity in Reims and the Champagne region.
