The Brut Classic in Jeroboam format from Deutz expresses an elegant, measured character: the bubbles are fine, the mousse lively, and the sip reveals a balance between citrus freshness and a solid structure. On the nose there are notes of ripe apple and pear, a hint of citrus and delicate nuances of toasted bread and almond, without overlap; on the palate the acidity is incisive but well integrated, the salinity supports the progression and the persistence remains inviting, making it easy-drinking yet substantial.

The Jeroboam format, presented in a case, showcases the bottle for convivial occasions and gives it a stage presence suited to parties and important dinners. Served chilled, it naturally accompanies marinated starters, shellfish, fried seafood and fish-based preparations; it also stands up to more structured dishes thanks to its texture and the balance between acidity and substance. A refined choice for those seeking a versatile, characterful traditional method.

Winery history
Founded in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, the Maison established itself in the Champagne scene thanks to the quality of its cuvées. Over time it underwent phases of modernization and changes in ownership that enabled investments in its production facilities; today it is part of the Louis Roederer group. The cellar uses its historic chalk galleries for aging and continues to showcase the area's crus.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to respect for the terroir and to patience: the estate favors distinct vinifications for each cru, carefully calibrated blends and extended cellar aging to develop complexity and finesse, rather than rapid production cycles or invasive manipulations.
Terroir and vineyards
Production is rooted in Aÿ and draws on parcels distributed across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. The House works both estate vineyards and grapes selected from growers in the surrounding municipalities.
