A Magnum of William Deutz Champagne in a gift box that speaks of restraint and balance: fine perlage and a delicate creaminess support a fragrant profile, where white fruit intertwines with subtle baking notes and hazelnut. The character is composed and flowing, with a fresh acidity that enlivens the sip without overpowering; its sapidity adds drive and clarity, making the tasting pleasant both on opening and after a few minutes in the glass. The magnum format adds a sense of depth to the wine, promoting a more harmonious aromatic progression compared with a single bottle.

On the table it proves versatile: excellent as an aperitif for celebratory moments, it pairs well with raw seafood, steamed fish and soft cheeses, yet also stands up to more structured pairings without losing freshness. Serve well chilled in a flute or Champagne glass to appreciate its texture and persistence; elegant in both presentation and flavor, it is a safe choice for gifts and occasions where balance and finesse are sought.

Winery history
Founded in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, the Maison established itself in the Champagne scene thanks to the quality of its cuvées. Over time it underwent phases of modernization and changes in ownership that enabled investments in its production facilities; today it is part of the Louis Roederer group. The cellar uses its historic chalk galleries for aging and continues to showcase the area's crus.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to respect for the terroir and to patience: the estate favors distinct vinifications for each cru, carefully calibrated blends and extended cellar aging to develop complexity and finesse, rather than rapid production cycles or invasive manipulations.
Terroir and vineyards
Production is rooted in Aÿ and draws on parcels distributed across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. The House works both estate vineyards and grapes selected from growers in the surrounding municipalities.
