The Chardonnay Collio DOC Ronco Bernizza from Venica expresses the characteristic identity of the Collio area with restraint and finesse. Coming from a vineyard named in the label, it shows a fresh, complex aromatic profile: notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus peel and delicate floral hints that alternate without overlapping. Light mineral nuances and touches of dried fruit may also emerge to support the drinking experience. Intensity is moderate, with an inviting yet measured olfactory texture, suited to those seeking an elegant, not overly expressive white.

On the palate it displays a balance between acidity and body, with a sapid progression that carries the sip and a pleasant lingering finish. The structure is suited to relatively early consumption but does not preclude a short period of ageing if the producer considers it appropriate. It pairs easily with fish dishes, shellfish, delicate white meats and fresh cheeses; it can be served as an informal aperitif. Recommended serving temperature is around 10–12 °C.
