Chardonnay Leite DOC from Josef Weger comes from Alto Adige and shows a fresh, balanced aromatic profile. On the nose there are notes of apple and white-fleshed pear, lemon zest and light floral hints, accompanied by a discreet mineral touch recalling the region's soils. The aromatic picture remains restrained, without excess, inviting a focused tasting to grasp the balance between fruit and freshness. The colour is a luminous straw yellow, consistent with its appearance as an elegant but unassuming white wine.

On the palate it has medium body, with lively acidity that supports the sip and a clean finish. It pairs well with seafood, shellfish, white meats and fresh cheeses; it can also accompany vegetable dishes and composed salads and works equally well as an aperitif wine. Serve at around 10–12 °C to appreciate its vivacity. Ideal for those seeking a white with contained character, suitable for relatively young consumption.
