Chateau Chasse Spleen, presented as a Cru Bourgeois from the Haute-Médoc, offers a classically styled red wine. In the glass it shows a deep ruby color; on the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit, subtle spice notes and an earthy hint that adds complexity. On the palate it is generally structured, with present but well-integrated tannins and a balance of fruit and freshness that carries the sip to a moderately persistent finish. The approach is restrained and measured, aimed at those who appreciate wines with personality without excess.

It pairs well with roasted meats, aged cheeses and traditional dishes that require structure and character. Serve at a moderate temperature and, depending on preference, decant to soften any youthful closedness and encourage the opening of aromas. If you plan to cellar it, ensure suitable storage conditions; in any case, the wine also offers enjoyment in the relatively short term.

Winery history
Terroir and vineyards
