Winery history

Pauillac established its reputation thanks to port trade along the Gironde and the famed 1855 Classification, which elevated numerous local châteaux. The appellation was officially recognized as an AOC in 1936 and has since built a strong international reputation for its age-worthy wines.

Production philosophy

Pauillac expresses a winemaking style focused on structure, concentration and ageing potential. Viticulture and vinification aim to showcase the gravelly terroir of the Left Bank, with blends dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon to achieve power and elegance.

Located on the left bank of the Gironde in the Haut-Médoc, the area is characterized by gravelly soils mixed with sand and clay, marked topographical variation and a temperate oceanic climate that favor the ripening of red wine grapes.
