The Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione La Prima of Castello Vicchiomaggio represents the excellence of the Tuscan territory, more precisely the hills of Chianti Classico, the beating heart of Sienese and Florentine viticulture. This wine is made from pure Sangiovese grapes, strictly selected from high-quality vineyards that fully express the character of the terroir.

The aging takes place in French oak barrels, which give complexity and an elegant tannic structure, enriching the bouquet with delicate notes of ripe cherry, sweet spices, and a floral background. On the palate, it reveals itself to be intense and harmonious, with a perfect balance between acidity and softness, ideal for accompanying roasts, red meats, and aged cheeses. The Gran Selezione is the ultimate expression of the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination, confirming the tradition and mastery of Castello Vicchiomaggio in creating wines with an enveloping and long-lasting personality.
